In its second edition the event GRI Hoteis held in Sao Paulo on May, 18 and 19, gathered over 100 biggest players of the Brazilian hotel industry. The event was aimed at connecting potential partners and providing opportunity for an exchange of experiences and debates over most important issues for the hotel industry in Brazil. The ECO Estrela project drew the attention of the participants to the importance of the Brazilian Northeast in general and specifically to the state of Rio Grande do Norte as a crucial region for the development of touristic projects – mostly hotels and resorts.

ECO Estrela Project was shown at HOLA Conference which brings together the leaders in the hotel industry to discuss important trends, to network, to identify new opportunities, and to do deals through a combination of plenary sessions, breakout panels, and interactive development workshops. ECO Estrela Project presented on March 22nd, at the Palace Pamphili, the Embassy of Brazil in Rome at the seminar “Investment Opportunities and Joint Venture and Tourism Infrastructure” with participation of the Business Leader Group Italy and the Italian Hotel Industry Association.
On the 3rd day of MIPIM, March 17, 2016 on the MIPIM conference Program ECO Estrela Project was presented at expert panel about the project and investment opportunities in Brazil with presence of the representatives of Brazilian Ministry of Tourism.
THE MASTERPLAN for the Eco Estrela project in Brazil Rio Grande do Norte state was unveiled for the first time to the international property sector at his year’s market.
Approval for the 2,500 ha scheme was granted recently and Dragmor, a division of the Gremi Group, is testing the market in Cannes looking for partners to help deliver the sustainable vision for this beautiful coastal site. Located on the north-easternmost tip of the South American continent, the Eco Estrela project boasts 7 km of virgin beaches and 300 days of sunshine per year. A major tourism destination will be developed in harmony with the natural enviroment with 80% of the area left untouched.
It will comprise resorts, boutique hotels, offices, residential areas, a golf course, a technology park, retail and service space. A centre for turtle research and protection is also proposed as well as a community sports centre.
“This is one of the best locations in Brazil to invest,” Dragmor’s Piotr Maj said, “What is more, with so much space available the only limits will be down to our partners’ imagination.”
ECO Estrela Project was launch at MIPIM in Cannes on March 15th, 2016 after being lincesed by IDEMA – Environmental Institute of Rio Grande do Norte on the March 11th, 2016.
It was a great opportunity to present the project to potential investors, hotel operators and companies who want to participate in it’s development.
